CANCOM is convincing with its extensive partner network and its cloud-native and cloud-agnostic approach.
CANCOM offers comprehensive support for the cloud migration of critical applications and scores with a strong range of cloud services in the SAP4/HANA environment.
It is hard to imagine companies today without the cloud, and it plays a crucial role in ensuring business continuity. Accordingly, the growth of the public cloud is also continuing. It is estimated that almost three quarters of public cloud customers use a multi-cloud environment – demand is expected to continue to rise, according to ISG. To give companies an overview of IT service providers with multi-public cloud solutions, ISG has compiled the Provider LensTM study “Multi Public Cloud Services”. CANCOM performed particularly well and is one of the leading digitization partners for midsize companies in Germany.
The ISG Provider Lens study shows that CANCOM is well ahead of its competitors in the categories “Consulting & Transformation Services”, “Managed Public Cloud Services” in the midmarket segment and “SAP HANA Infrastructure Services”.
As a “Leader” in the above areas of the ISG study, CANCOM impresses with its focus on individual customer needs, certified DevOps competence and expertise in cloud-native computing, among other things. According to the ISG study, CANCOM shows hardly any weaknesses compared to the competition, particularly in dealing with complex public cloud infrastructures and multi-cloud solutions, and offers a comprehensive portfolio for SAP/4 HANA Basis operation, which is particularly attractive for the midmarket.
Agility and security in the cloud migration of critical applications
CANCOM has once again defended its position as a leading provider of “Consulting & Transformation Services” for midsize companies. According to ISG, the company is a reliable partner for the modernization and migration of critical applications such as SAP to the public cloud.
CANCOM impresses with its expertise in cloud workplace solutions, cloud security and governance as well as cloud IoT edge computing and offers a broad portfolio of services from a modern cloud-native perspective.
“CANCOM is a provider that specializes in the development of digital platforms and works in a particularly solution-oriented manner. The company relies on public, private and, above all, hybrid cloud solutions as the basis for its projects,” explain the ISG analysts.

Robust partner ecosystem and state-of-the-art approach
CANCOM is also considered the leader in the area of “Managed Public Cloud Services” for mid-sized companies in Germany, outperforming the competition, according to the study. ISG attributes this to the company’s broad partner ecosystem, which includes all major hyperscalers as well as important security, connectivity and application providers.
With a modern cloud-native perspective, CANCOM also offers a high level of expertise in managed services, including on-demand support and integration with cloud solutions or the company’s XaaS portfolio. CANCOM’s approach is cloud-agnostic, ensuring on-demand support for all customer environments and comprehensive security via API interfaces.
CANCOM’s “MOVE, OPERATE & INNOVATE” approach is also highlighted as a strength, successfully supporting customers in managing critical workloads such as SAP on Azure or container technologies.
“CANCOM has successfully expanded its leading position and is now taking the next strategic step with planned investments,” said the ISG analysts. “The course has been set to remain at the top in the future.”

High-performance SAP-certified infrastructure
CANCOM continues to impress with its comprehensive services for secure SAP Basis operations. This is why the company also achieved the leader rating in the “SAP HANA Infrastructure Services” category. CANCOM sets up a hybrid or multicloud environment for customers who wish to run parts of their workload on one of the large hyperscalers and takes over its operation in full.
The CANCOM SAP Competence Center supports customers with first-class SAP experts in cloud migration, from the initial assessment to the takeover of operations.
“CANCOM offers an excellent portfolio for midmarket companies with a wide range of cloud services in the SAP4/HANA environment. The further developments announced will make it even more attractive,” explain the ISG analysts.
CANCOM is currently working with numerous partners to meet customer requirements. The demand for industry-specific solutions, in addition to infrastructure operation, is high among many medium-sized customers. CANCOM is focusing on expanding its partner ecosystem and developing vertical solutions in order to present solutions from a single source to the various industries.
