The Bavarian funding program “Digital School of the Future” enables schools to obtain parent-financed 1:1 digital devices. The event of the same name on July 2, 2025, in Munich will show how this can be implemented successfully in practice.
The digital equipment of schools remains one of the major challenges facing education policy. In the Free State of Bavaria, the “Digital School of the Future (DSDZ)” funding program offers a promising way forward: it enables schools to work with parents to provide 1:1 equipment with tablets or laptops. For many schools, however, the question arises: How can such a project be implemented successfully and in a practical manner?
CANCOM has been a reliable partner to schools on this journey for many years – from procurement and parent involvement to technical integration and secure device management (MDM). Parent-funded 1:1 equipment is not only a pragmatic way to provide digital devices, but also makes an important contribution to greater educational equality: All students – regardless of their social background – should have access to modern education.
To keep the organizational effort for schools as low as possible, CANCOM relies on proven processes: A specially set up school web shop makes it easy and transparent for parents while also reducing the workload for the school office and teaching staff.
Those interested in finding out how this works in practice can attend the event “Digital School of the Future – Successfully Implementing Parent-Funded 1:1 Equipment” on July 2, 2025, in Munich.
DSDZ in practice: Success factors first-hand
