  • Trainee Welcome Days in Jettingen-Scheppach offer new trainees a practical introduction with an exciting program.

CANCOM kicks off the 2025 training year in September: a total of 106 young talents are starting their IT careers at CANCOM, including 95 trainees and 11 dual students. They will be introduced to their diverse IT professions and dual study programs at 20 different locations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

They will start right away with a tight schedule: on September 1 and 2, 2025, the new junior staff were officially welcomed at their locations. Local induction days were held there – a motivating start full of orientation, exchange, and team spirit in their new working environment. Afterwards, all new starters from Germany attended the “Trainee Welcome Days” in Jettingen-Scheppach, CANCOM’s central training location, from September 3 to 5, 2025.

“Especially in times of skilled labor shortages, we as a company take responsibility. With our award-winning training strategy, we want to offer young people prospects – and at the same time actively shape the digital future,” emphasizes Claudia Ade, Senior Manager Trainees and Talents. “For us, training is not an obligation, but has always been part of CANCOM’s DNA.”

Trainee Welcome Days: information, inspiration, interaction

The joint Welcome Days offer a varied program that promotes the integration and networking of new trainees and dual students. In addition to getting to know each other and learning about the company, the focus is on workshops and practical content – the basis for getting off to a great start in IT.

In addition to an insight into fundamental IT topics such as cyber security, participants can also expect to get their first taste of forward-looking technologies such as artificial intelligence. CANCOM focuses on training that encourages early responsibility and offers practice-oriented learning formats – including its own projects, workshops, and networking opportunities. This promotes both technical expertise and important soft skills such as teamwork, personal responsibility, and communication. Most recently, CANCOM was named one of Germany’s best training companies for the seventh time in a row by Capital magazine in cooperation with Ausbildung.de – with five stars for training and study. In addition, CANCOM was honored this year by the IHK Schwaben for its special commitment to dual training at its Jettingen-Scheppach location.
