CANCOM at it-sa 2024: Focus on compliance management and holistic cyber defense
CANCOM presents its comprehensive security portfolio for companies, public clients and selected industries – from prevention to recovery measures.
In focus: Comprehensive cyber defense with the CANCOM Cyber Defense Center and the multi-standard tool CANCOM ComplianceSuite with advice on NIS2
Trade visitors can expect a varied program with lectures, guided tours and information on current IT security disciplines
From October 22 to 24, 2024, CANCOM will be presenting its holistic cybersecurity solutions at it-sa in Nuremberg, Europe’s largest trade fair for IT security. At booth 603 in hall 7, CANCOM offers trade visitors the opportunity to obtain advice on holistic security architectures from proven experts. One focus will be on the CANCOM ComplianceSuite, which supports companies in implementing current regulations such as NIS2. The cybersecurity specialists will also provide information on current topics, threats and solutions in presentations and guided tours.
Companies are facing constantly growing challenges in IT security – with its participation at it-sa, CANCOM is setting an example for future security and compliance and presenting its extensive portfolio of cybersecurity solutions and services that not only protect companies, but also make them future-proof. This includes holistic approaches to defending against cyber threats, from strategy development and industry-specific implementation to the associated managed services and Everything-as-a-Service-offerings (XaaS).
Effective compliance management with the CANCOM ComplianceSuite
One focus this year is on the presentation of the CANCOM ComplianceSuite. This in-house software-based solution provides companies with comprehensive support in the implementation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and other security-related standards. It is listed by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as an IT baseline protection tool among the approved IT security products and systems and is therefore also suitable for use by public sector clients. In view of the growing regulatory requirements, particularly the NIS2 directive, but also other standards such as ISO 27001, CANCOM also offers a complete consulting service to make companies of all sizes fit for current and future compliance challenges.
“The CANCOM ComplianceSuite in combination with our in-depth consulting is the answer to the increasingly complex requirements for IT security and compliance,” explains Alexander Ernst, Director Competence Center Network & Security at CANCOM. “Our solution helps companies to navigate the challenging world of compliance while optimizing their security architecture.”
Holistic cybersecurity strategies
The almost 100 square meter CANCOM booth will cover a variety of security topics and solutions, divided into five main areas:
(1) Identify: Recognize risks
(2) Detect: Detect incidents at an early stage
(3) Protect: Develop protective measures
(4) Respond: Respond effectively
(5) Recover: Restore resilience
Presented will be CANCOM’s own products such as the CANCOM Cyber Defense Center, the CANCOM Incident Response & RED team for pentesting and Rapid Response Services. These solutions and services offer companies comprehensive support in identifying, defending against and overcoming cyber threats.
Practical presentations and guided tours with partners
In addition to the product presentations, visitors to the stand can look forward to a varied program of presentations. During the three-day trade fair, CANCOM will be offering short presentations on security-related topics, which trade fair visitors can attend in the presentation lounge. In addition, partners Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet, Trend Micro, Sophos and Palo Alto Networks will be presenting their solution components and illustrating them with clear practical examples.
The trade fair presentation is rounded off by guided tours, during which participants can experience the security solutions from CANCOM and its security partners live in action. The guided tours provide in-depth insights into the integrative security approaches and show how companies can take their IT security to the next level by working with CANCOM and its partners. The topics and timing of the presentations will be announced shortly.
