CANCOM and K-Businesscom are combining their expertise in the field of IT security and will be exhibiting together for the first time at it-sa in Nuremberg, Europe’s largest trade fair for IT security, from 10 to 12 October 2023. At booth 450 in Hall 7, visitors can obtain advice from the two experienced cybersecurity specialists on holistic security architectures. In addition, experts will provide information on current topics and threat situations in presentations and discussions.
K-Businesscom has been part of the CANCOM Group since June. At it-sa, the two IT service providers from Austria and Germany will for the first time jointly present their portfolio of cybersecurity solutions and services. This includes holistic approaches to defending against cyber threats, from strategy development and implementation to industry-specific implementation, as well as the associated Managed Services and Everything as a Service (XaaS) offerings.
“With CANCOM and K-Businesscom, two experienced IT security specialists, each with a mature portfolio and their own Security Operations Centers, are combining their expertise,” says Alexander Ernst, Director Competence Center Network & Security at CANCOM. “With our complementary strengths, we can cover the specific IT security requirements of various industries even more holistically.”
Themed areas on relevant security building blocks
Visitors can expect a diverse and extensive range of products and services at the joint 100 sqm exhibition stand: at six themed areas focusing on (1) services, (2) consulting (3) security solutions and (4) industry solutions, visitors will gain insights into how they can comprehensively protect their company against cyber attacks. The focus will be on CANCOM’s own products such as the CANCOM Security Operations Center with SOC as a Service, the CANCOM #redteam for pentesting, and the CANCOM Compliance Suite, which is BSI-listed auditing software that helps implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS). A new feature is CANCOM’s “Rapid Response” service, for fast and efficient emergency assistance in acute security incidents. At another themed area (5), the K-Businesscom team will be presenting security solutions specifically for operational technology, such as for the energy sector and for carriers.
Practical presentations on trend topics
In addition, visitors to the stand will gain insights into the most important security topics that are currently driving the market and the individual industries. For this purpose, CANCOM has scheduled short presentations on strategic and innovative topics every hour during the three-day trade fair in its presentation lounge, with concrete solutions from partners and illustrative practical examples.
Expo area and guided tours with security partners
In theeExpo area at the booth, visitors can find out about joint solutions from CANCOM and its security partners Cisco, Microsoft, IBM and Palo Alto Networks. The solution portfolios of Crowdstrike, Fortinet, Sophos and Trend Micro will also be presented. To provide visitors with a comprehensive experience, guided tours of the partners’ booths will round off the trade fair presence.
