Change in leadership at CANCOM Austria: CEO Jochen Borenich leaves the company

Jochen Borenich, CEO of CANCOM Austria, has decided to leave the CANCOM Group at his own request on January 31, 2026. From February 2026, board members Dietmar Wiesinger (CSO) and Bernd Eder (CFO/COO) will jointly assume overall responsibility for CANCOM Austria AG.

Jochen Borenich joined the CANCOM Group following the acquisition of Austrian company K-Businesscom AG in spring 2023. He subsequently joined the Executive Board of CANCOM SE, where he served as Chief Sales Officer until December 2024, responsible for sales, the strategic portfolio, and industry management in all regions of the CANCOM Group. At the beginning of 2025, he took on the role of CEO of CANCOM Austria and played a key role in driving forward the integration of the company into the structures of the CANCOM Group. Prior to this, he had been Chief Operating Officer on the Executive Board of K-Businesscom AG since 2010.

With the handover of management responsibility to Dietmar Wiesinger and Bernd Eder, CANCOM Austria is focusing on continuity. Both will continue the successful development of the company with their extensive experience and clear strategic orientation.
