  • CANCOM is the first Platinum Partner in EMEA for Object First.
  • Object First delivers backup storage with Absolute Immutability for Veeam® customers.
  • The partnership with Object First offers Veeam users maximum data security against ransomware.

CANCOM has become the first partner in the EMEA region to achieve Platinum status in the Object First Partner Program. This highest recognition highlights CANCOM’s strong expertise in the field of immutable backup storage and its close collaboration with Object First.

Object First provides immutable backup storage that’s a last line of defense against ransomware for companies of all sizes. Its secure, simple, and powerful backup storage appliance is ready to use in just 15 minutes, requires no special security knowledge, supports backup speeds of up to 8 gigabytes per second, and offers capacities of over 7 petabytes.

Absolute immutability means backup data cannot be changed or deleted under any circumstances. “Ransomware knows no compromises, so neither do we. With Object First, we make Veeam backups completely immutable and ensure that data integrity is maintained. This gives our customers exactly what they need—a reliable basis for protecting their data and building digital resilience. This is not just technology, it is responsibility: for data, for security, for trust,” explains Michael Ostheimer, Senior Partner Account Manager at CANCOM.

The award was presented on Monday, October 20th, at the CANCOM headquarters in Munich. Diana Frattarelli (Object First, Partner Account Manager DACH) presented the Platinum Award to Martin Eckart-Weissbäcker (CANCOM Senior Consultant) and Michael Ostheimer (CANCOM Senior Partner Account Manager).
