Study: CANCOM offers one of the best apprenticeship programs in Germany

  • Top ranking as an apprenticeship company in the study " Deutschlands beste Ausbildungsbetriebe 2021" (Germany’s best companies for apprenticeships) commissioned by Focus Money and Deutschland Test
  • CANCOM's training program for apprentices and students has already won numerous awards

Anyone who starts a vocational training program or a dual study program at CANCOM creates the best conditions for individual development and a promising future in the IT industry. This is once again confirmed by the study " Deutschlands beste Ausbildungsbetriebe 2021", which was commissioned by Focus Money and Deutschland Test and carried out by the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research. For the third time in a row, CANCOM was ranked among Germany's best companies.

After 2019 and 2020, CANCOM is thus also among Germany's top trainers in 2021. In the overall ranking of all IT service providers in Germany, CANCOM occupies a top position. This is a testament to the company's award-winning apprenticeship program – not only for vocational training, but also for the dual study programme. Last fall, for example, the business magazine Capital (issue 11/2020) identified "Germany's best trainers 2020". For the third time in a row, CANCOM was also rated with outstanding results – with top scores for both dual studies and vocational training.

Particularly in times of a shortage of skilled workers and a declining demand for apprenticeships by school leavers, it is very important for CANCOM to offer attractive training and continuing education programs in order to attract qualified skilled personnel. The existing program is being continuously developed and expanded.

"Our demand on ourselves is to constantly improve our training offers and to work on the pulse of the times. The requirements of schoolchildren and students are changing – on the one hand due to digitization, and on the other due to the current pandemic. We are responding to this as a modern training company. Despite all the challenges posed by Corona, it is important to us not only to support our trainees, but also to maintain a close exchange with them and accompany them during their training. That's why we're now focusing more on digital solutions and formats, such as digital Group-wide exam preparation and digital apprentice meetings," says Claudia Ade, Manager Trainees and Talents at CANCOM.

In addition to the expansion of further training locations throughout Germany, the range of IT training occupations is also being continuously expanded. For example, the new IT occupations of IT specialist for digital networking and IT specialist for data and process analysis have been integrated into the range.
