ISG study: Triple top ranking for CANCOM in Public Cloud Services for SMEs
The analysts of the global market research company ISG have once again rated CANCOM’s Public Cloud Services & Solutions as leading in Germany
In terms of competitive strength, CANCOM is far ahead of all relevant market players with its “Consulting & Transformation Services” and “Managed Public Cloud Services” for SMEs
CANCOM is also one of the leading providers in the market for SAP Hana Infrastructure Services
On the road to the cloud, CANCOM is one of the strongest digitization partners for SMEs. This is the finding of the latest Provider Lens studyTM “Public Cloud Services & Solutions” by leading technology research company ISG. In the areas of “Consulting & Transformation Services” and “Managed Public Cloud Services” in the midmarket segment, CANCOM is well ahead of the market. The hybrid IT service provider and system integrator is also among the leaders in the “SAP Hana Infrastructure Services” category.
In all three categories, CANCOM impresses with its end-to-end offering, its migration and managed services expertise, and high integration competence of cloud solutions and applications. “CANCOM is one of the leading multi-cloud integrators and solution architects, with hardly any weaknesses in dealing with complex public cloud infrastructures for SMEs,” summed up the ISG analysts.
Ideal partner for migrating critical applications to the cloud
According to ISG, CANCOM is the ideal partner for customers who want to modernize critical applications such as SAP and migrate them to the public cloud. This assessment is based on the one hand on the numerous certified experts, and on the other hand on the high and holistic integration competence of leading solutions and services in the areas of cloud workplace with its own digital workplace solution CANCOM AHP on Azure, cloud security and governance, and cloud IoT edge computing. “In the area of ‘Consulting and Transformational Services’, CANCOM offers any service from a modern cloud-native perspective, but is also able to fully integrate legacy stacks into the services,” the analysts elaborate. “On request, application support can also be taken over and integrated into the cloud solution or the offering, which is largely structured as an XaaS portfolio.”
Close partnerships with all leading public cloud providers and hyperscalers
CANCOM also emerges as the most competitive market player in the “Managed Public Cloud Services” category, leaving other leading IT service providers behind.
“In addition to the comprehensive public cloud partnerships of CANCOM with all major hyperscalers, midmarket customers benefit in particular from the holistic service portfolio and approach,” said ISG. “The migration as well as managed services expertise handles critical workloads such as SAP on Azure or container technologies. Not at least because of the numerous certifications of CANCOM experts for AWS, Azure, GCP or the IBM Cloud, the customer environments managed by CANCOM are always cloud agnostic and can be operated as API.”
This provides customers with lean architectures including a link to the CANCOM Cloud Marketplace, which can be used to flexibly book additional cloud services and applications as required.
State-of-the-art cloud infrastructure for business-critical SAP workloads
CANCOM also scores in the “SAP Hana Infrastructure Services” category with its experience from numerous SAP projects in a wide range of areas with many thousands of SAP users. “CANCOM is a certified SAP HANA Operations Services Partner and uses state-of-the-art infrastructure systems approved by SAP and managed on an SAP-certified platform. Business-critical cloud applications are in good hands with CANCOM,” ISG emphasizes. This is also ensured by cloud operation in highly secure, multi-certified redundant data centers that are monitored around the clock.
“Migration to the cloud and the operation of applications within the cloud or hybrid environments are currently among the most important topics for our customers,” explains CANCOM COO RĂĽdiger Rath. “To establish new business models and drive digital transformation and automation, clever use of state-of-the-art cloud technologies is required. At the same time, the complexity of the technology landscape continues to increase. As a hybrid IT integrator, we ensure simplified and automated management of public cloud services and make hybrid environments simple and controllable for our customers.”
