As a long-standing partner to the healthcare sector, CANCOM has a custom-fit, seamless range of digitalization solutions, platforms and services for both healthcare providers and payers. This was confirmed by the market research company ISG (Information Services Group) in its latest market report. CANCOM holds a strong competitive position in both the "Provider Digital Transformation Services" and "Payer Digital Transformation Services" categories.
Due to many different approaches to digitalization in the German healthcare system, institutions such as hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities, as well as payers such as statutory health insurance funds and private health insurers rely on a broad IT services portfolio. The starting points are manifold, for example by automating analog processes or by better networking of staff, patients and medical care centers. At the same time, the healthcare sector in Germany is one of the most legally regulated industries of all. When choosing the right digitization partner, in-depth industry knowledge and the associated consulting expertise are decisive factors.
CANCOM among the top providers of digital transformation services for healthcare providers and payers
According to the latest Provider Lens StudyTM "Healthcare Digital Services 2021" by technology research company ISG, hybrid IT service provider CANCOM meets all these requirements. In the ranking of IT supplier for "Provider Digital Transformation Services" and "Payer Digital Transformation Services", CANCOM occupies top positions in both cases.
"In addition, the IT service provider can boast numerous customers in the healthcare sector, including nationwide hospital chains and health insurance companies," emphasize the experts. "The IT company is represented in Germany by numerous experts for the healthcare sector, so that digitization projects of any size and complexity can be implemented." Customers also benefit from strong partnerships, such as with Apple, Microsoft, Dell, NetApp, Fortinet, Cisco and HPE, among others. This enables CANCOM to offer powerful, versatile and individual solutions, concludes ISG. And healthcare facilities that work with highly sensitive personal data do not have to worry about IT security either, according to the study: "CANCOM provides its services from Germany, operates its own Security Operations Centers here in Germany, and is thus also a high-performance provider in the area of IT security."
From April 26 to 28, 2022, digitalization managers in the healthcare sector were able to get a first-hand impression of CANCOM's digital healthcare solutions at the DMEA in Berlin. At the leading trade fair for digital healthcare, CANCOM, together with Cisco and Apple, presented the path to the hospital of the future. According to the motto "Consuming instead of installing", CANCOM's experts showed how hospitals, rehabilitation and care facilities can implement a scalable IT infrastructure quickly and flexibly - without high investment costs. In addition, trade fair visitors were able to find out about suitable as-a-service models tailored to the healthcare sector or managed services packages that provide relief in day-to-day operations.
