According to the latest Provider LensTM study "Cybersecurity - Solutions and Services 2022" by leading market research company ISG, hybrid IT service provider CANCOM is once again among the top providers of “Managed Security Services” and “Technical Security Services”. With its comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio, including extensive as a service offerings and SOC operations from Germany, CANCOM convinced the ISG analysts for the third time in a row.
Organized cybercrime threatens companies' ability to do business like never before. According to the digital association Bitkom, cyber sabotage, cyber espionage and data theft alone cause more than 220 billion euros in damage in Germany every year - with a strong upward trend. In view of the acute threat situation, corporate security therefore stands and falls with effective cyber defense.
In this context, the current ISG study highlights CANCOM as an ideal security partner - especially for medium-sized customers. The ISG analysts position the IT service provider in the top field in both the "Managed Security Services" and "Technical Security Services" categories.
Customized safety concepts for all customer segments
But it is not only medium-sized companies that CANCOM offers tailor-made security concepts to: "CANCOM serves a comprehensive range of topics and services for all target groups, and with its approach it also understands how to address the needs of its large customers, thus offering IT and cybersecurity solutions from a single source," Heuer continued.
Strong partner for SMEs thanks to SOC operations in Germany
"This clearly meets the expectations of many midmarket customers," explained Heuer. "The Managed Security Services and XaaS portfolio covers a broad spectrum of managed technologies and offers numerous services. Here it pays off that CANCOM has drawn up a very comprehensive roadmap for the further development of its portfolio," he further elaborated, explaining CANCOM's top position in the Managed Security Services category.
"IT security is becoming more complex. Hybrid work, multiple connectivity and the transformation to the cloud - all these trends have opened up new gateways for cybercriminals. On top of that, there are new EU data protection, compliance and IT security rules. Effective cyber defense is hardly affordable internally, especially for small and medium-sized companies," Alexander Ernst, Director Network, Communication & Security at CANCOM, pointed out. "Accordingly, we are continuously expanding our cybersecurity portfolio with a clear focus on as-a-service offerings. Thanks to standardized and modular Security-as-a-Service packages, from SOC aaS to Firewall aaS to Endpoint Detection aaS, companies can outsource their entire IT security if required and fully secure their business. This saves them high costs and they don't have to build up their own resources for this."
