CANCOM honored with NetApp Partner Award 2022

  • CANCOM is once again NetApp’s Hybrid Managed Service Partner of the Year
  • Award recognizes the strong partnership in implementing cloud-based data management and storage solutions
  • Special focus of the cooperation was on the provision of demand-oriented initial hardware infrastructure through a cloud-like experience in the own data center

On March 31 2022, NetApp presented its Partner Awards 2022 for the German market at a virtual event with 200 invited guests. There, CANCOM was named “Hybrid Managed Service Partner of the Year”. Presented by Maik Hoehne, Senior Director Channel Sales Germany, the “Better Now” studio in Hamburg served as the backdrop for this year’s event. The award honors in particular the innovative strength as well as the business success of the partners.

Together with NetApp, CANCOM looks back on a long-standing partnership that focuses on close cooperation in the field of implementing cloud-based data management and storage solutions. “The renewed award as a Hybrid Managed Service Partner confirms our joint commitment to the success of our customers,” said Martin Mayr, Senior Vice President at CANCOM. “NetApp is an essential component in our portfolio and completes our claim to advise our customers intensively.” Over the past year, the focus of the joint cooperation was particularly on offering customers the benefits of security and compliance of local data centers as well as flexible deployment models from the cloud. With CANCOM Flex Infrastructure – the cloud-like experience in the company’s own data center – the interplay of both worlds is successful: New server, storage or network resources for the data center can be booked as needed, while technological, operational, and financial risks in planning, procuring, and maintaining hardware are eliminated. In the future, NetApp and CANCOM intend to intensify their cooperation in all regions, expand the managed services offering, and increasingly focus on storage as a service.
