Young talents at CANCOM benefit from excellent up-to-date training programs. In the survey "Germany's best trainers 2021" by Capital and Ausbildung.de, the IT service provider once again emerged as a top vocational trainer. This award is in line with the many positive results of recent years and underlines the high quality and innovativeness of CANCOM's training program.
In their joint survey, business magazine Capital and the HR experts of the talent platform Ausbildung.de evaluated the training standards of a total of 652 companies in Germany. In addition to apprenticeships, also dual study programs were evaluated. With five out of five stars CANCOM achieved the highest score in both areas. This makes the IT service provider one of the top training companies in Germany for the fourth time in a row.
The focus of this year's study was on how companies maintained and adapted training during the pandemic. The evaluation included criteria such as the supervision of trainees in the company and in the home office, the equipment for learning at home, teaching methods, performance reviews and training plans, as well as the use of innovative methods and digital media. However, both the qualification and support of the trainers as well as career opportunities for the trainees in the company also played a vital role in the awarding of scores.
As the results show, CANCOM meets all aspects in an exemplary manner. For instance, right at the start of the pandemic the company switched to digital formats to ensure that trainees continue to exchange information with each other and with their trainers. "Our group-wide exam preparation and trainee meetings take place digitally or hybrid. Also apart from Corona we are integrating modern digital teaching offers and tools into our teaching concept in a reasonable way," elaborated Claudia Ade, Manager Trainees and Talents at CANCOM. She emphasized, "Our young talents are our future. We attach great importance to supporting them in every phase of their training and to challenging and promoting them in the best possible way. That is why we regularly put our training program to the test and continually optimise and expand it. I am very pleased that we achieved such a good result in this year's study.“
This is the second award for CANCOM this year. Most recently, Focus Money and Deutschland Test also named the IT provider as company with one of the best apprenticeship programs in Germany. Next to the addition of further training locations throughout the country, CANCOM is also continuously expanding the range of apprenticeships. Interested applicants currently can choose between twelve different apprenticeships and seven dual study programs.
