CANCOM again honored as number one in invidis’ digital signage ranking

  • CANCOM has achieved the top position in the invidis Digital Signage Ranking in the DACH region for the fifth time in a row and was recognized as a “Rising Star & Disruptor” in the EMEA market for the first time.
  • Digital signage is a central technology at CANCOM, which offers tailor-made solutions through a specialized sales team.
  • CANCOM relies on high IT security standards with its own data centers and promotes the use of energy-saving hardware through its Green Signage initiative.

For the fifth time in a row, CANCOM has taken the top spot in the DACH region in invidis’ renowned digital signage ranking. In addition, CANCOM was also listed as a “Rising Star & Disruptor” in the EMEA market for the first time this year. This is the result of the latest invidis study, in which various providers in the international digital signage market were evaluated. This award underlines the company’s leading position, diverse offering and many years of expertise as a digital business provider in the digital signage and transformation environment.

In an interview with invidis, Steffen Ludwig, Director Digital Media Solutions at CANCOM, emphasizes the importance of digital signage as a core technology: “Digital signage is one of our core technologies, and it slips into every consultation. Whether room signage or video conferencing systems – a connection to digital signage makes sense everywhere.”

The addition of the Austrian CANCOM Austria AG, formerly K-Businesscom AG and, according to the invidis study, Austria’s number one in digital signage integration in 2023, has enabled CANCOM to further consolidate its leading market position. The entire specialized sales team includes multimedia and digital signage experts and offers tailor-made solutions for a wide range of requirements, whether in the retail sector, for corporate communications or in the healthcare sector.

According to the study, a decisive competitive advantage of CANCOM is its focus on IT security for digital signage solutions. With its own fully redundant data centers in Germany and Austria, the digital business provider offers CMS solutions that are hosted in accordance with the strictest IT security guidelines. These security standards have contributed significantly to the company’s success and have almost doubled ProAV/digital signage sales in the last four years.

Sustainability is also at the heart of CANCOM’s customer projects. “Our green signage initiative means that we rely on particularly energy-saving hardware both internally and externally and plan roll-outs as efficiently as possible,” Steffen Ludwig continues.
